What got you into cosplay?
actually my girlfriend got me into it. After her untimely demise I kept at it, never forgetting her Aerith or Lyn cosplays and how hard she worked on them.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Jaffar from Fire Emblem. Granted you don't really need a real personality to do him, but his backstory intrigued me. So I got started on that one. And the rest is history
What is your favorite costume and why?
Probably either Renault or Karel from Fire Emblem. Of course I don't make a bad Locke or Setzer either.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My dream one is going to be slightly difficult... I want to do Raphael from Soul Calibur 3. I'd also like to do Angelo from Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The last cosplay party I went to after I proposed to my girlfriend at the time. It was my first time cosplaying Cloud, and she went as Aerith. My cousin went as Sephiroth and we re-enacted the death scene... soooo epic.
Do you participate in masquerades?
i've never done one, but I'd like to try

Tell us a little about yourself
Well, I suffer from schizoaffective disorder. Basically it's depression and schizophrenia mixed together, that's the only way I can describe it. I live alone in the small, anime-deprived town of Portland, Indiana. Only I and a select few people in this town know that anime even exists here. In my spare time I train with my wooden katana (i love my umibara) and I play yu-gi-oh, as I have for years. I spend my time playing video games and making costumes when I can. Living with my disorder is hard, but I'm not giving up. Britney never gave up on me while she lived, so it's only right that I continue on our path we walked alone.
