I am 19 years old and live in Michigan. I am (obviously) a huge anime/manga fan. Cosplaying and attending cons has become a huge part of my life. It is so much fun and it's just so refreshing to meet others who have the same passion. I have been known to make best friends overnight at a con just because I've "clicked" with so many of the people I've met. I will never forget any of those awesome people and the ones I'm sure to meet in the future.

What got you into cosplay?
My first con. I went there in cosplay only because I heard pretty much everyone there would be in cosplay also. I loved the expirience so much I made a hobby out of it.
What was your first costume and why?
Itachi Uchiha from Naruto. Mostly just because my hair was the right color and length to pull it off.
What is your favorite costume and why?
To date, my favorite costume of mine is my Kiba costume. (Kiba Inuzuka, also from Naruto) Mostly because it was hand made and a lot of care went into making it since Kiba is one of my all time favorite characters.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes! I want to find someone the same build as me and do a duo cosplay of Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin from Ouran High School Host Club. I would want to be Kaoru as I find I'm more like him of the two twins.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Erm. . . Well, no one thing in particular. Simply meeting fellow cosplayers with the same interests is enough for me. I have made very good friends practically overnight, you just don't get that anywhere else. Although, at Youmacon 2008 I did Kiba Inuzuka's "fang over fang" with another Kiba cosplayer and we gathered a pretty big group of people wanting to take our picture. It was pretty sweet.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, I have a really bad case of stage fright. I'm fine when off stage with a whole bunch of people but the second I'm on a stage, I freeze.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I have never entered a costume contest either. I don't believe anything I've made is elaborate enough to win anyways.
Tell us a little about yourself
I am not in school right now. I'll be going to college soon. I have a job cleaning kmart. I live with my mother and father right now. I love drawing and writing. But still, cosplaying and attending cons is my passion.

My favorite book(s)
Well, Anne Rice's "Vampire Chronicles" is awesome. I love "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens. But AJ Cronin's "The Citidel" is my favorite. I'm a major d0rk so I love the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings books.

"Interview With a Vampire" is my favorite. "Nightmare Before Christmas" was awesome. I loved all the live action Death Note movies. I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter movies as well as the Lord of the Rings series.
My favorite actors/actresses
umm. . . I don't have that many. I was a HUGE Heath Ledger fan. Still am, just terribly sad he will no longer be making movies. I love Ken'ichi Matsuyama. That's about it though.
