What got you into cosplay?
Kingdom Hearts. i first started playing this game when it came out mainly because of the Disney characters... but it pretty much went all down hill from there... Sora.... yummy. yup then i started drawing and watching more and more anime and reading more and more manga. i stumbled upon cosplay and figured i'd never have the patience to make any costume like that. then one year my best friend Kenny took me to an anime convention and i just fell in love with it. it took me about 2 years to realize i really wanted to cosplay and this year i just did it. and i'm so proud of myself. hopefully there will be a lot more cosplays for me in the future!
What was your first costume and why?
well obviously as you can see by my account my first and only cosplay at the moment is Yoko Ritona from Gurren Lagann. i just love it so much.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
i've always wanted to cosplay as Kairi from Kingdom Hearts. she might be my next cosplay. :)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
figuring out how much mula it takes to prepare for a cosplay and how much time you need to make it. its so fun.
Do you participate in masquerades?
haven't done it yet and probably won't.
Tell us a little about yourself
i'm SHA. i love anything asian and everything Corean, i love learning many different languages, i am teaching myself Corean and Japanese, i got my belly button pierced because i was bored, but it got infected and I had to take it out, i love milk especially with anything chocolate or peanut buttery, i will deny that i'm hungry even when i'm starving which result in me getting very anxious and crabby when i haven't eaten, i love to draw and am very good at it, i'm currently studying graphic design at the Art Institute, i played the piano for about 12 years but ended up quitting when i got into high school and i regret it to this day, i have two good friends whom i've never met before but have known them for more than 5 years, their names are Seuie and Kevin, i work at a Japanese restaurant (owned by Coreans who speak fluent Chinese), i adore sushi, i can't live without my phone/music/big screen tv, 동방신기 is the band who started my love for Corea, 宇多田ヒカル is the one who started my love for Asian music, and Kingdom Hearts is the (and my favourite) video game that started my drawing and love for anything Asian, i can't stand when people complain (even though i tend to complain myself), i can't stand ditsy girls, i can't stand stupid people, i procrastinate way too much but found that i work better under pressure, my favourite movie is The Little Mermaid, yes i spell words like colour and favourite, i am very open minded but can be very critical, i don't let little things bother me very easily, i am very "friendly" and love meeting new people... just don't annoy me :]
