What got you into cosplay?
Anime North 2004 was my first convention, I had to dress up.
What was your first costume and why?
Integra from Hellsing. She's an awesome character that I though I could pull off well.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Zoisite from the live action version of Sailor Moon. Love the character and it's my best creation yet.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Well, I've completed Zoisite, so I guess I need a new one. I'd love to try Rosiel from Angel Sanctuary, Kunzite from PGSM, and there's a few characters from Haruka Naru Toki no Naka de as well.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
After removing my horrible wig as Rip I jumped up and down on it and then threw it in the garbage. I was then asked for a picture and said no because I had just destroyed my wig. The photographer then said "That's OK, she's got blond hair anyway." Apparently it is a common occurrence for Rip cosplayers to be confused with Integra. Because Integra has black hair and carried a massive gun...
Do you participate in masquerades?
Participated in my first one at FanExpo 2007 in August. Plan to make it a habit now.
What was your best masquerade experience?
The Anime North 2008 Skit Contest. Our skit got lulz, and we were happy. Go tumbleweed!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Anime North 2008 Skit Contest - won "Best Use of Props".
Tell us a little about yourself
I graduated from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario in 2005 with an H.B.Sc. in Computer Science. I then later attended Nipissing University in North Bay to get my B.Ed in 2008. It doesn't seem to matter which version of Sailor Moon I am watching, I seem to have a thing for Zoisite. Gee, does it show? All of the Shitennou actually, but him especially. Yes, him.

I love Crispin Freeman to pieces.
