What got you into cosplay?
My very first convention was Anime Central 2002. To be honest, I didn't know what cosplaying was until then. When I saw everyone dressed up as cool characters and having so much fun, I decided that I had to do it too.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Kagome from Inuyasha - it was for a Halloween dance and I wanted to do something different. It was also the easiest thing I could think of at the time. :)
What is your favorite costume and why?
I really love them all. Each one showcases just how far my sewing skills have come. My High Priestess costume was the first one I made from "scratch," so it holds special significance for me. Atoli was my first fairly detailed costume and required a lot of creativity in construction. Aura was a simple costume, but one of the most accurate ones I have done so far. I really can't say I have a favorite costume anymore lol.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Shiva, Summoner Yuna, any of the Valkyries from Valkyrie Profile.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
There are way too many to list. I love meeting up with people and taking silly pictures.
Do you participate in masquerades?
What was your best masquerade experience?
Any masquerade in which fellow MACS members are present.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
