What got you into cosplay?
I have always loved costumes of any kind. I used to snag my mom's fabric and drape it around myself to make cloaks and skirts. I always wanted a princess dress
What was your first costume and why?
My first official cosplay was Dagger from Final Fantasy IX. Since I first saw her in the game, I had always been obsessed with that character. I always thought I looked enough like her to pull it off.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My second version of Dagger. I've worked so hard on it and I really feel like I went above and beyond in regaurds to detail
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I would LOVE to cosplay as Lulu some day. I'm also toying with Ashe from Final FAntasy 12
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
During my first con, there was this taller rather 'fluffy' build guy holding a sign saying 'glomp me' I, a newb, was no one to resist so I called out to him and then took a running go from about fifty feet away. He caught me and spun around. His friend then said "I feel like I just watched a Final Fantasy 9 FMV"
Do you participate in masquerades?
I did once and intend to again
What was your best masquerade experience?
The fact that a friend I had me there was willing to enter with me. I was so nervous!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Not yet...I do hope to some day though.
Tell us a little about yourself
Right now I'm not in school. I intend to go back someday (I need to get a job!) I am the secretary of the local gaming club and I will be the Cosplay Director at Zakyou Con in May of '08! (It's in Richmond Kentucky, more information at http://www.zakyou-con.net You should SO come!) I enjoy drawing (I enjoy it...that does not mean I"m good at it) and playing my Final Fantasy games ^^
