I love my family above all else. I like cosplay but it is one of my many hobbies. since having my daughter, i prefer to be behind the scenes and spend most weekends working on photoshoots doing makeup and hair. but costumes will always be my secret love. But we cant all be 21 and 100 lb forever!

What got you into cosplay?
always made costumes and liked anime....discovered cosplay and it just fit.
What was your first costume and why?
lilith....is there a reason? i just liked her.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Morrigan. There's something satisfying about cosplaying a character very overdone---yet in a new way.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Kei from adam warrens dirty pair. But unless i magically drop 100 lb and suddenly be able to tan, that aint ever happening!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
meeting people through this hobby has been wonderful. all my best friends were through cosplay.
Do you participate in masquerades?
rarely. Im not competitive, although i like creating skits for art's sake on rare occaison. I just love making costumes. competing makes it too stressful in my experience.
What was your best masquerade experience?
awa 01, when i won best in show for shiva. because it was my first award, it was the most exciting.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
yep. 4 best in show masquerade, and 2 best in show hall contests. but generally like i said, i hate competing. my attention span is too short. i like hanging out better than waiting in line to walk on a stage.
Tell us a little about yourself
im married to a kickass guy named Brad, i run www.genkigang.com and also work with a stylist, doing makeup + costumes, etc for photo shoots, as well as making my own skin care products. I also keep very very busy with my wonderful daughter, Zella.

cheese with a pickle on the side. A beer never hurt, either.
