What got you into cosplay?
The people I saw cosplaying seemed to have more fun than those not in costume. ^_^; I cosplayed as Mokuba at AMA, and I felt like I fit in better. :3
What was your first costume and why?
Mokuba Kaiba, from YuGiOh, because I wanted to do something simple for my first cosplay. Plus, his long hair matched mine at the time, and I also have a darker complexion like he does. It was a pretty warm costume to wear, since I wore his longsleeve shirt and yellow feather-down vest.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Elive Thade was awesome because people from the Neopets Team actually saw me in it, and they loved the costume. I also enjoyed cosplaying Flareon because everyone seemed to like seeing the Eevee trio.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Hm... I'd love to make a quadsuit or centaursuit of Lord Okkoto (the boar god) from Princess Mononoke. ... Or, if I'm really ambitious, making Demon Okkoto. :D
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Getting my picture taken by the Neopets Team at Gencon '04. :D
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, usually just Hall Costume Contests, but at Otakon those involve getting onstage after the masq skits. ^^ So... sorta'.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Elive Thade: 2nd place at Gencon. Flareon (with Eevee Evolution group): Best Novice, Saturday Hall Contest, Otakon 05 Sophie: 2nd place Craftsman, Saturday Hall Contest Otakon 06 Tormund: 3rd place Craftsman, Saturday Hall Contest Otakon 07
