What got you into cosplay?
A few years ago, some friends and I decided to go to our first con (AnimeNext '04) and we figured, while we're there, we could try cosplaying. I became the ringleader and organized the group of 6 people to go in one large Inuyasha group. I was Kagura. We only got to go Sunday b/c we had to graduate (like thats important ^_~) but it was fun nonetheless!
What was your first costume and why?
Kagura b/c my best friend took Sango. ^_~
What is your favorite costume and why?
It changes with each new costume made. xD Right now, I love Miranda. She is so fun and neurotic! Plus I have no eyebrows! xD
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
The Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth. *_* All latex. D:
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When someone screamed "TSUNADE! I LOVE YOU!" from across an intersection on the way to the convention center at Otakon '05.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I've only done one after I helped someone out. It wasn't great. I prefer to be either backstage or watching them these days. Though usually the skits are so redundant I'm tempted to start skipping them.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Working backstage at AnimeNext05. Great learning experience and the cosplay dept people are some of the best people ever!

Tell us a little about yourself
I am a senior in college and my major is English/teacher of english. I like to read, write, and photoshop. I love costumes, Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I love to ride horses.

I've never actually played Portal, but I've seen it played....oh! Copter, i love/hate that stupid lil game!

Too many... Regular books: LOTR, anything by Elizabeth Haydon or Tamora Pierce, the Sabriel series, Eragon, The Sweep Series, and many others... Manga: Juvenile Orion, Tsubasa, anything by Yu Watase, Chobits, Nana and MANY others!

Trowa!! from Gundam Wing, Hiei and Kurama from YYH, Kyo from Alice 19th, and Robin from WHR
