What got you into cosplay?
Well, I've been an anime fan for quite awhile now (since I was in 7th grade). My friend and I went to our first con (AX) in 2002, and we saw people dressed up as anime characters. We vowed, "Next year we are soooo dressing up!!" So that was it.
What was your first costume and why?
Technically? I made a makeshift Chang Wufei for Halloween so I could trick-or-treat.
For AX2003 I dressed up as a random school girl and Relena Peacecraft. I choose Relena because I wanted to do a girl from Gundam Wing, and at the time she was fairly recognizable.
What is your favorite costume and why?
It is very hard to say, since all of my costumes have something I like about them! I am fond of the costumes I made entirely myself, but I still love my altered, pieced together ones too.
Right now I think I have the best time in Orihime and Sora. Both are really fun to run around in!
Ahiru is also becoming an instant fave~
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes! A few of them. XD
1.) A gundam! Seriously, it would be cool to pull that off.
2.) Space Paranoids Sora! I want to GLOW.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Meeting Kiba's English VA, Kyle Hebert, at ALA2006 when I was dressed as Kiba.
Meeting Luci Christian when I was dressed as Duck/Ahiru at AX '08!
Participating in Video Games Live in Los Angeles in October, dressed as Sora~
Do you participate in masquerades?

All right, let's see. My real name is Amy! I'm 22 years old and just graduated from college!
I'm a Christian, (raised Catholic but I also like some Protestant ideas), I love art! (part of why I like anime so much), and I just like being with my family and friends. As far as music is concerned I love the Beatles, Queen, oldies in general, anime soundtrack stuff, musicals, and classic rock.
