What got you into cosplay?
I always liked the idea of being my favorite characters.
What was your first costume and why?
Sweet the dancing demon, if Buffy costumes count, I guess. It was a half-assed thrift store thing, but it made me popular in the world of BUFFY CONVENTIONS anyway. Nami from One Piece is the first one I actually finished and wore to an anime con though. My host sister in Japan had liked One Piece a lot and had me watch it, so I thought she'd enjoy knowing she succeeded in getting me into the show.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Nuriko; I've loved him for almost ten years so it seemed fitting that I'd eventually cosplay him. It was my first time battling with a really long wig, so I'm kind of proud that I managed to get it under control even if it's nothing special.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Phil Phleira Deed and Tune Youg from Megami Kouhosei. And Petz from Sailormoon R; I planned to start that costume years ago but I keep... not working on it, so apparently getting it finished is a dream.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I'm pretty fond of the time my friend and I dressed up as Paulie and Lucci from One Piece and were just wandering around Tampa and taking pictures at the Cracker Barrel.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nah, I never feel like spending that much time on one thing when I could be hanging out with friends and doing group photoshoots instead.
What was your best masquerade experience?
...Yeah.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
3rd runner up at Vulkon Scifi Orlando 2004 for the Romulan deal. And apparently, I've won several copies of the Internet for my Klinger. Sounds about right.

Junior in college, majoring in religious studies.
I don't know what I'm going to do with that degree either.
