What got you into cosplay?
I love Halloween. Naturally, after seeing the pictures of some amazing costumes from Anime Expo 2003, I decided to try cosplay too.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Icchan from Angelic Layer. It was easy to cosplay him since I only needed a labcoat. I borrowed my RA's biology labcoat and viola! Instant Icchan.
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far, it's the Full Metal Alchemist Military Uniform. I like uniforms and they are the very few articles of clothing that look good on me. Plus, this uniform has the benefit of allowing me to cosplay more than one character using the same costume.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Auron from Final Fantasy X. I have always thought I would make a killer Auron.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
At a cosplay picnic, I managed to save a parasol/sunshade blown away by the wind using my prop swords (hook swords). The owner of the parasol thanked me and remarked about how handy the props were.
