What got you into cosplay?
I count from my first convention. I did Halloween costumes and had fun with them. I had always wanted to attend an anime con but there weren't any in my area for a long time. Once Naka-Kon was in its second year (I didn't hear about it the first year) I went in my Sango costume from a previous Halloween. But it wasn't for another two years that I got really dedicated.
What was your first costume and why?
As I count from my first con, Sango from InuYasha, her pink kimono. I first made it for Halloween and it was because then I was obsessed with InuYasha and Sango was my favorite character.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Finland, it was the first I ever completely sewed and the first to win me an award. I'm also well-known for it in my local cosplay community.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
While cosplaying Lucy I went to get Chris Ayres autograph. He did some bit parts in Elfen Lied and he really loved my costume. There are two pics of me with him on his website.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I won "Most In-Character" for Finland at Bishie Con.
