What got you into cosplay?
It was Halloween when I was in 8th grade. My friends had really gotten me into anime, and before I even knew what cosplay was, I wanted to make a Sailor Moon costume. After I did that, I became hooked, and started going to conventions that very summer.
What was your first costume and why?
Sailor Pluto. I always loved sailor moon, and Sailor Pluto didn't have those scary shoulder things xD. I thrifted almost everything,and my friend helped me sew the leotard. I wore this to a Halloween party, and I had so much fun. I would love to make sailor Pluto again some day=)
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume is going to become costumesXD I love too many of them, so I will pick 2. 1. Miki Kaoru- I love Utena, and this duelist Jacket is like a dream come true. I have learned so much as I have made more and more costumes, so I feel very proud of myself when I look at it on the form. 2. Belldandy- I remember when I made my second costume I always liked to look online at other cosplayers. One that struck me was a Belldandy costume. I was in awe of it, and I kept telling myself maybe one day I would make this costume myself. That has finally happened, and it makes me feel acomplished.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Sailor Pluto- This was the very first costume I ever made, and it sucked,lol. I want to remake it and make it the right way. Gunner Yuna- It has been cosplayed by almost EVERYONE, but I adore the design. it just looks like such a fun costume to wear^^ Ryoga-I love Ranma 1/2, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pchan. I would be so happy to make his costume one dayxD
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I'd have to say animefest 2005. I made lots of new friends thanks to the Dallas Fort Worth Cosplay Club. We hung out as a big group and talked, and just had FUN. That is the reason I got into this hobby in the first place.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Sometimes I do. I like to more so now than I did before. I could never do skits, but walkons are what I love the most.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Cage-con was very small, but it was a wonderful way to start because I was so new at it. There was no rush and no intimidation. We were basically in a reallllly big room so it was an easy start compared to walking in front of a HUGE crowd of people. I was hooked right after that haha.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Songstress Yuna-Most Energetic@Cage-con 2005 Super Sailor Mercury- Judges award at All-con
Tell us a little about yourself
I currently live in Michigan with my parents. I am enrolled as a full time college student and to make some extra cash I draw artwork commissions=) Real work and school almost killed me last timexD. I am majoring in Studio Art and new media, and I am minoring in Japanese language. Cosplay is my main hobby besides drawing, and I have so much fun with it. When I am not busy studying, I am either at my sewing machine or using a drawing pad.^^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I like to express how much I love to cosplay. It is so much fun to be able to recreate the beautiful designs by the artists. Cosplay to have fun, show your creativity and PLEASE do not do it for sheer competitive impulse.

Dang, this is a hard one >>; I don't read too much LOL. My all time favorite book though is probably the original 101 Dalmatians novel.
