What got you into cosplay?
Watching anime and playing video games got me into cosplay! Ever since I was younger and just starting out with anime, I wanted to "dress up" as the characters. So for Halloween one year I whipped up a ghetto Tifa and went to a Halloween dance like that. No one recognized me, but who cares! As I got older (and a hold of the internet ;) I found out that I was not alone and I found out what cosplay was!
What was your first costume and why?
Sephiroth of Final Fantasy VII was my first. It was not done well at all. No sewing or anything, just things my friend and I found around the house. We made it the night before my first con, NDK 2000. Since then, I have seen other people costume and have been able to make my costumes from scratch and they are more accurate. My skills improve with each costume!
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far my Kasumi from Dead or Alive costume. It was my third costume, and my second time sewing. It looks pretty darn good for how low my sewing skills were!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My dream costume is Samus from the Metroid series. It's a DREAM costume for obvious reasons! XD
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Winning Best in Show group skit at Nan Desu Kan 2005...my first cosplay award!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Sometimes, I'm getting more and more into them because my skills are improving. But I will definatly stick to the audience participation, especially at bigger cons, until my skills improve!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Still NDK 2005--our skit was fun, funny, and I had a blast putting it together with my friends!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I wore my Yuni from DDR costume to NDK 2005, and our group won Best in Show for the skit competition--the costume had to be altered so parts could be "removed"...it was a blast!
Tell us a little about yourself
I am a third year college student the University of Denver, in Denver Colorado currently majoring in Game Development--which is video game design. I have a great family and great friends, but am very interested in making more cosplay friends across the country (or wolrd even)! I thouroughly enjoy skiing, especially ski racing--I have been doing it since I was 4. Beyond anime and gaming, I enjoy soccer, fencing, reading, painting, drawing, and many other things. My friends and family mean the most to me in the world!

Revolutionary Girl Utena, Evangelion, The Slayers, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Magic Knight Rayearth, BSSM, Peach Girl, Vampire Princess Miyu, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and several others I can't think of right now. ^^;
My favorite game(s)
All the Final Fantasies, but Final Fantasy VII is my favorite game of all time! Secret of Mana, Super Metroid, DDR, Xenosaga, Devil May Cry 1 and 2, Halo 1 and 2, Dead or Alive series, all the Legend of Zelda games, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Kameo, all the Resdient Evil games, and so many many more!

The Lord of the Rings series, the Harry Potter series, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Memoirs of a Geisha, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them, The Davinci Code, anything by Terry Brooks, tons of fantasy books, and so so so many more.
