Born in NJ, relocated to WV, discovered Cosplay in college, moved to PA to be close to fabric stores. Also enjoys yoo-hoos.

What got you into cosplay?
I was the president of an anime club in college and when leading them on their first trip I thought "what better way to lead an anime club trip?" So I dressed as Lupin and went for one day. Got there and saw a May from guilty gear done AWESOMLY (or at least I remember it that way) and new that I had to be able to make costumes like that one day. So I keep doing cosplay cause it publicizes my favorite characters and series and I continually learn from each endevor.
What was your first costume and why?
Lupin III, I had sideburns and a red jacket. In my mind it was perfect. Though looking back...
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hard to call it, thoguh Rocketbilly has always been extremly fun to wear and always leads to a great story no matter where I take it.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Currently I'd love to make a Goron from Legend of Zelda. Just to terrize the links and munch on some rocks.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
In the con or out of it? Let's go for out! Me and two friends were walking down in Baltimore I was in Rocketbilly and my two friends in costume as well and as we cross the street a vagrant asks what the name of our band was. My one friend responds quickly that it was "the b-boys" as there is a giant letter B on the backside of rocketbilly's jacket. We then give bogus directions and concert start times to this person.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not intentionally.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Being pulled down a hallway at animenext and told that I was now competing cause my costume was good...I placed... Which I was amazed for since I didn't even try.... XD
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
See above. I divided up my prize to my hotel roomates as I allready owned most of the sewing materials.
Tell us a little about yourself
I graduted from Concord University in Athens, WV with a degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Studio Art. My family lives in West Virginia otherwise know as the middle of nowhere.... You Can't Even buy demin in the local fabric store! WTH!? I have friends scattered across the country which is great for crash space, but terrible for hanging out often.. A sugguestion it gives me is wether I hate my job. Honestly? Hellz yeah! If anyone can offer me better than waiting tables I'd be there in a heartbeat. Sure my home in Philly is nice but If it was between a job I'd enjoy ever day or staying in Philly I'd move. I'm also one of the biggest marvel comics geeks you'll meet.
