What got you into cosplay?
I've been drawing anime since 8th grade, and watching it since 10th. As far as video games though, that's been ever since I discovered Nintendo. Which was 7-ish years old. I've always wanted to be certain characters, and it took 2 friends to throw out the idea of Sakuracon for us all to say... "why not!?"
What was your first costume and why?
Orochimaru, Junnin exams. Because I love Orochimaru/the Naruto series. It's the only Manga I follow religiously. I think Orochimaru is a great bad guy (all the evil people look cooler than the good), and somewhat feminine. So I thought I could pull it off :) Plus, this version of Orochimaru is SO BADASS
What is your favorite costume and why?
hmmmm well I'm excited about a costume I'm doing very soon- Sergei Dragunov from Tekken 5/6. I've been planning this one ever since Sakuracon 2010 ended. I love the character's attitude, design, everything. So I think he will be my favorite, but since I've only done one cosplay so far, it has to be Orochimaru.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Probably an original character I drew up 5-6 years ago... Or, some kind of full suit- like yoshimitsu.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Finding a Kabuto @ Sakuracon while I was dressed as Orochimaru XD
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nope!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, but getting stopped for photos, and having people do double takes because of my contacts was rewarding enough :)
