What got you into cosplay?
My best friend x3rikku got me into cosplay.
I've always been a little hesitant at first, but she really got me motivated. I'm also super shy. I have a hard time initiating conversation with others unless they start first, hehe. It's always interesting to see the wonderful costumes people come with. x3
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplay was Gunner Yuna for Katsucon 2005. At first, It was because I wanted to do a cosplay with my friend who was going as Rikku. I didn't really do it for the love of the character. I didn't know what else I was interested in cosplaying since I was barely beginning. It was the first time I also picked up a sewing needle. I never knew how to sew before that.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Right now, my favorite is Shino. I love that outfit so much. My boyfriend and I worked so hard on our Shino and Haseo. It felt like a nightmare going through the process, but the end results were amazing. I was so happy the outfits turned out better than I thought. It was my boyfriend who helped motivate me.. because there were many days where I'd whine or cry about all the hard work I had to do. I pushed myself so hard even when I had no interest to do it some times.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My dream costume is to make Anastasia's beautiful gown and take pictures in Russia. But that's probably mainstream. xT

What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I liked so many.. but I think Katsucon's always been my favorite next to Anime Expo.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes!! Two! PMX and Ani-magic. I was just thrown into them last minute.. I have horrible stage fright. :/
What was your best masquerade experience?
Ani-magic.. it was great playing my character.. and getting injured towards the end. XD haha.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I won first place in the kairi look-a-like contest on cosplaylab.
I won best of show with Berserker yuna.

I'm attending university studying to be a fashion designer. I love traveling, cosplay, drawing, hanging out with my friends.. x3
I love eating.. I wish I had a better job. I'd love to work with fabric. ^^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm usually a very depressed person who downs herself a lot, especially when it comes to cosplay. I'm usually so hard on myself. I hide it with my cheerful side.
