What got you into cosplay?
My friend who sews costumes and loves anime got me into it.
What was your first costume and why?
Princess Serenity and Tuxedo Mask (my twin went as TM) for halloween. We had random costume items that sort of looked right and went with it.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Firiel Dee from Good Witch of the West. She's from such an obscure series that I don't need to worry about seeing tons of them around, and she has a large number of costumes to choose from.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Golden Sparrow from "Forbidden Kingdom"
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
In the middle of a random battle (for RBG) exchanging my Yuna staff for Ward's really tall spear and screaming "white magic sucks" which sent most of the group into convulsive laughter.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes
What was your best masquerade experience?
Tekkoshocon, 2008 walk-on. Its the masquerade where I won my first award.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Best Novice Craftsmanship - 2008 Tekkoshocon. For my Jade World Sakra
Tell us a little about yourself
I have 6 sisters and 1 brother, one of my sisters being my identical twin. I work in a factory inspecting engine parts, and in my free time sew and attend cons. My biggest hobbies are sewing, drawing, singing, and cosplay. I'm also into ABJD and currently own one.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm really good at cooking? seriously. ask saberpilot. she knows ^_^ I also specialize in Sashiko, a functional form of Japanese embroiderry.
