About Me / Q&A
What got you into cosplay?
I've always been captivated by beautiful character designs, ever since I can remember. I'm a pretty artsy girl and I even majored in illustration. For me cosplaying is my homage to characters I adore, but also paying tribute to beautiful artwork.
What was your first costume and why?
Haha, my very first costume that I made was Yuna's songstress costume, back in 2002-2003. It wasn't spectacular, but I still had fun in it and got me into cosplay.
What is your favorite costume and why?
This is a hard question because I have several favorites for different reasons. I really enjoy cosplaying as Meru. Legend of Dragoon was my very first RPG, so there's a nostalgic element, when I cosplay Meru. I also really enjoy cosplaying as Julia from Cowboy Bebop because it's my most comfortable costume and the reactions from Cowboy Bebop fans makes it very rewarding to wear.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'm not a huge fan of Belldandy's personality (I'm more partial to Urd and Skuld), but her design is stunning! There's also Irenes from Chrono Cross and many others I can't think of off the top of my head.
My favorite anime
Haha, I feel so old answering this question XD; Will the newer generation of anime lovers even know of some of these?
-Ayashi no Ceres
-Magic Knight Rayearth
-Ah! My Goddess
My favorite game(s)
I'm a sucker for games with pretty character designs, which can be bad because I've also picked up a fair share of bad video games @_@
-Final Fantasy IV
-Final Fantasy VI
-Final Fantasy VIII
-Final Fantasy IX
-Final Fantasy X
-Soul Calibur III
-Lunar: Eternal Blue
-Legend of Dragoon
My favorite book(s)
I honestly don't read very much. If I do pick up a book it's normally a book about a particular artist's work.
My favorite character(s)
-Rydia (Final Fantasy IV)
-Miwako (Paradise Kiss)
-Umi Ryuzaki (Magic Knight Rayearth)
My favorite movies(s)
I love visually interesting movies and period pieces.
-The Young Victoria

-Breakfast at Tiffany's
