About Me / Q&A

What got you into cosplay?
I watched the first season of "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu" about a year after it aired in Japan. I totally fell in love with Haruhi as a character, and felt like we had a lot in common. Right then, I promised myself that I would give it a try and make every single outfit Haruhi wore. Before that, I never really cared much for cosplaying or cosplayers, but I did liked to dress up in costumes every now and then (High School Concerts, Halloween, etc).
What was your first costume and why?
Haruhi Suzumiya's winter school uniform was my first. I wanted something warm and comfy for my cosplaying debut. I thought people wouldn't like it (is a pretty easy costume), but I couldn't believe how popular it became. Well, "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu" was a hit back then after all... Still, it's my easyest and most popular costume, even among my others Haruhi ones.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My Haruhi Suzumiya bunny outfit is my definite favourite. It wasn't easy to make, but it's just so cute *3* I made exactly like the newest Playboy Bunny classic black outfits, instead of making it plain and brown as the one Haruhi wears. I even bought original Playboy cufflinks for it. The only thing I dislike about it are the stilettos. They're a total pain in the butt .-.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Bayonetta is my actual "dream costume". I'd also love to make a Dante (Devil May Cry 4) cosplay for my boyfriend to wear with it <3 but I don't think I'm ready to sew an spandex outfit... but I WILL do it, maybe next year.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Everytime someone asks to take a picture of me/with me is a memorable experience. I feel proud of the fact that they like my outfit so much.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I've organized a couple of them in the past, but not anymore... I think I'd like to do that again <3
