What got you into cosplay?
Boredom and insanity, probably...
What was your first costume and why?
An EGL, because I had a top hat, a parisol, a mountain of Gothic and Lolita Bibles, and one week to make something for the con. I altered a school dress and made something that my dad said looked like something a cocktail waitress would wear if she worked at a funeral home.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Haidee's opera gown. The one with all the gems and floaty scarves and stuff. I'd probably have to empty my college fund to afford the materials, though. Bleah.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I suppose that memorable doesn't necessarily mean good. I was at the con's dance, and some guy about three times my age asked me to dance (bowed and everything). He kept getting down on the floor and waving his hands around my knees. I couldn't figure out how to get rid of him, so my friend grabs me under the shoulders and says "WE NEED WATER!!" and hauls me out of the room. Handy things, those con buddies...
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
uh, I'm sorry, people. Kimonos are crossed left over right, unless you're dead (I know that's a really spiky, irritating thing for me to say, but seriously. People will laugh at you.)
