What got you into cosplay?

What was your first costume and why?
Frida from Bust-A-Groove: We danced alike, and I like to paint also.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Mamimi fron FLCL. The costume didn't come out well, and I sewed the zipper inside out >_< but she is so much fun to cosplay, that I could care less.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Of course: Giant Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro, and Grace from Soulfire.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Meeting Cosplayers that are so nice! Plus when you see them at other cons, you get to chat again.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have once, but I didn't get to stay to see if I won anything -_-() I doubt I did anyway. I just enjoy walking around in costume. I'm sure when I make a REALLY awsome costume, I will enter. ONE DAY!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Oh my...I was soooooo nervous. We did a walk-on with the chii costumes. My cousin and I had it planned: Walk on, twirl, walk off. All we ended up doing was walking on and off after bowing. *good grief*
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I don't think so...u_u
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm in college now, trying to balance school, work, and cosplay. I work for our family company selling IT Alignment training classes and resource materials. Cosplay is my hobby^_^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I want to go on and study Fashion/ Costume Design and maybe get an apprenticeship somewhere to learn the ropes.
