What got you into cosplay?
Evali, BabyBerry, and the knowledge that there were such things as cons.
What was your first costume and why?
Momo from Xenosaga Ep. I, because Evali adored Shion and BB was determined to conquer the challenge of KosMos.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Right now it's Robin Sena, because I love her character and it's a comfortable costume to wear (such a rarity).
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I've just finished both of mine:
Phedre no Delauney de Montreve as Mara (Kushiel's Chosen by Jacqueline Carey), and Lady Lovely Locks.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
It's a toss-up between:
...finding out we won Best Novice (AWA 10) while in the shower, and us accepting our award onstage 3.75 minutes later in our pajamas, my hair dripping all over the stage
...and...
...winning Best of Show AWA 11 for when we didn't expect to win anything for our Katamari.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not so much any more, but on occasion we still do compete as a group. (I do not compete by myself--that's nowhere near as fun as doing it with my friends.)
What was your best masquerade experience?
"I like nin-JAS and I cannot lie!" *winkwink*
And AWA and AX always have very relaxing, well-run contests.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
This is going to sound arrogant, but I've actually lost track of how many times the group has won something... @_@
