What got you into cosplay?
My first anime convention was Anime Expo 2004, and when I got there I felt totally stupid because I was practically the only person who WASN'T cosplaying!
What was your first costume and why?
Well, I guess if you really want to stretch it, when I was 14 I dressed up as Sailor Venus for Halloween because she is my favorite Sailor Soldier. But it was... less than what I had hoped for. *Goes and hides all the hideous pictures of her Sailor Venus outfit*
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume is my Kenshin Himura costume, because I *adore* Kenshin. Rurouni Kenshin is my very favorite anime/manga, and even though I don't wear Kenshin as often anymore, I still love that costume to death. It will always be my favorite. ^_^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Star Wars: Episode I--Queen Amidala Invasion of Naboo dress
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I have had so many memorable moments, but they all include meeting new people, making new friends, and having a blast with all of my buddies.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Ocassionally.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes! :D
Tell us a little about yourself
My one really big hobby is my horses. I've been showing Arabian horses for 9 years, and I have a horse who thinks he's a dog (he certainly begs like one). -.-; I'm also an aspiring artist, as I'm sure many of us here at Cosplay.com are. I spend a lot of my time drawing and painting, and have created my own original manga. My dream would to be an American Manga Artist.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I also have one of the greatest boyfriends on the planet. He's certainly the Yin to my Yang; he introduced me to gaming, I introduced him to anime--it was a match made in geek heaven. He's loving, kind, and at 6'4", he's very useful for getting into high places. ;) Love ya, Babe.
My favorite anime
Rurouni Kenshin. Rurouni Kenshin. Rurouni Kenshin. Rurouni Kenshin. Oh yeah, and there's Trigun and Kare Kano (<~~~Sweetest High School Romance EVER). Samurai Champloo is high up there, and I also love Neon Genesis Evangelion (if only for the strange feeling I get everytime I watch it), Cowboy Bebop, Sailor Moon, etc... Oh, and Gatchaman. Old school, baby!!!
