What got you into cosplay?
Even though I didn't know it, I was cosplaying many characters from movies and books when I was a kid. After the release of Kingdom Hearts, I fell in love with the idea of dressing up as fave characters and now I'm finally and officially doing cosplay.
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplay? It was probably an OC for Harry Potter when I was in elementary school because I was a huge fan when the books first came out. Or Cosmo from Fairly Odd Parents in 9th grade, considered "the sexiest Cosmo" by one of my guy friends. ;)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hmmm....as much as I love my Locke mask for Nightmare before Christmas, my fave costume is GI Sora from Kingdom Hearts. It was so surreal how quick I got into character and his outfit is just so comfortable. ^^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
GI Sora was a dream of mine, now it's Peter Pan, Avengers!Loki, and Anastasia (ball gown).
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Wow. My first con: ACen 2011. I wore GI Sora the whole weekend and got so many compliments and photos. I was in character almost the whole weekend and my photographer from The Enthusiasts loved how I had the "perfect Sora lean" ahhhhh fansquee!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Hopefully one year at ACen. ^^
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a film-directing major at Columbia College Chicago. I am currently working at the theatres in Chicago and am taking up commissions on deviantart (under the same name). My hobbies are playing KH, watching Disney movies, creating costume concepts, and photography/cinematography.
