What got you into cosplay?
I got into cosplay when I went to my first convention at NDK and saw people with beautiful costumes. After that, I decided to try cosplay myself and since then, I've been hooked!
What was your first costume and why?
Anthy Himemiya was the first costume that I actually made and I could wear. It took me about 3 or 4 tries on different costumes such as Utena and Sajouin Chisuga to finally make one I could wear. (I will be remaking those later.) I had the long black hair and the tan skin so I tryed and it turned out great!
What is your favorite costume and why?
Every costume. I usually don't cosplay characters I don't like and don't know. I must like the character for personality or weirdness and design before I decide to cosplay them. However, I like low maintainance costumes better than high ones. It makes life much easier if you don't need five people to help you get dressed, hold your junk, and assist you during those few hours. But, that doesn't mean I won't make them. I have a weakness for big ballgown dresses.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Not really. There isn't a one costume that I am dreaming night and day to make. All the costumes I make are sort of dream costumes, if they weren't, I wouldn't have picked them.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Well, when I got my badge for NDK, I met these extremely kind people named Lynette and her boyfriend that I became aquaintances with. We talked and and they encouraged me to go forth with my dreams of cosplay.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Every year I do a few costumes, but I always pick one that is slightly more challenging to improve my skills and techniques.

Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Witch Hunter Robin, Shamanic Princess, Boogiepop Phantom, Hellsing, Perfect Blue, Ghost in the Shell, Princess Monoke, and others.

American McGee's Alice and Castlevania. I haven't played very much.

Anything by Kurt Vonnugut, Roald Dahl, Uzumaki, Wilde, Nabokov, Dickens, all literature, and all philosophy.
