I'm a junior at Auburn University, majoring in Costume Design for Theatre (though I want to do film). I've been cosplaying since AWA 2004. My favorite cons are Anime Expo and Dragon*con (for VERY different reasons!) and I love performing in masquerades with the cosplay group I co-founded with Velvy, Coconut Bubble Sex Cosplay. (No, there's really not a good reason behind the name- it started out as a joke and stuck because we thought it was so funny.)

What got you into cosplay?
My fangirlism, of course.
What was your first costume and why?
Haruko from FLCL because she's totally GAR (and I thought the costume would make a good first).
What is your favorite costume and why?
Yukari, Yuuko, and Six... probably because I feel most confident in those since I can stand up tall and not feel inaccurate. XD
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Eventually, I want to make a Grand Prix Yukari costume that doesn't look like an 80s prom dress reject. :D
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Epic fun times at cons- I can't pick just one!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Almost always. My group, Coconut Bubble Sex Cosplay performs at AX every year (and an assortment of cons outside California) with our crack-inspired skits for laughs.
