What got you into cosplay?
I never had heard of cosplay until my step sister told me about anime conventions. I immediately knew it was something I would want to do and I dove straight into making a costume and cosplaying at my first convention!
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was BSAA Jill Valentine, and it was bloody awful. Despite my inexperience however, people complimented me and I was determined to keep working on this awesome hobby.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My original design (not my own original design, it's based off a Deviantart work) female Ezio from Assassin's Creed 2. It's a beautiful costume that I spent ALOT of time on and I'd love to remake the symbols that broke and wear it again.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I have ALOT, but I really want to do Battle suit Jill Valentine, full Daedra armor from Skyrim, the Demon Hunter from Diablo 3 and Priss from Bubblegum Crisis.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being chased down by three girls who were SO excited to see a Lacus Clyne at the convention that they just wanted to take pictures with me and talk to me about Gundam Wing.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I haven't yet, but I would really like to!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I won Hallway Cosplay award at Kumoricon 2010... don't think that counts...
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a college freshman and waitress who hates her job by day and a cosplayer and video game fanatic at night!
My favorite anime
Attack on Titan, Blue Exorcist, Gintama, Queens Blade, Ah My Goddess!, Chrono Crusade, Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden, Claymore, Ouran Host Club, Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, Karneval, No Game No Life.
My favorite game(s)
Resident Evil, Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed, League of Legends, Skyrim, Diablo, Legend of Zelda and (yes) the Sims.
My favorite book(s)
I honestly have way too many to pick.
My favorite character(s)
Definitely Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil series and Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail. I hate females who are portrayed as weak or in need of saving, and these two girls, even when they DO need help, never become pathetic.
My favorite movies(s)
Studio Ghibli films, Taken, Young Frankenstein, any Disney film, the Lego Movie and Julie/Julia (wow I have one adult movie. I have very childlike movie tastes).
My favorite actors/actresses
Neil Patrick Harris and Johnny Depp are definitely up there, I also love Julie Andrews.
