What got you into cosplay?
My friends, mostly.
What was your first costume and why?
Sha Gojyo, Saiyuki Reload. We decided to attend the London MCM Expo as the Sanzo ikkou, and I think we did quite well for our first attempt! As for why - well because Gojyo rocks my socks, ovbiously!
What is your favorite costume and why?
Sha Gojyo, lol. I'm proud of my shajuko, and the way I managed to attach the chain too.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Oh. Yes. But I'm keeping that one a secret!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being glomped by a Sanzo. It was almost surreal to turn around at the cry of 'Gojyo!' and find a tiny Sanzo flying at my head. Although discussing whether or not it was worth buying a packy for Rude with my ex and her now husband was pretty odd...
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, I do now.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Not from actually during the masqurade, but I loved waiting with the other cosplayers at CICE '11. A wonderful, friendly group who really made me feel welcome - and were quick with the tips when the bald cap came loose at the back!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Tell us a little about yourself
Just completed my MA in Creative Writing, working a series of temp jobs until I find something permenant that I don't loathe and... to paraphrase Kakashi, I have lots of hobbies.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! ... Ehem... I meant no.
