What got you into cosplay?
Watching anime thinking "Wow, that would be really cool to dress up like that!"
What was your first costume and why?
Miyamoto from pokemon because i used to love pokemon when i was younger...
What is your favorite costume and why?
Currently, DIXANADU Mana. Mostly because its a lot of fun to wear.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Currently, "Mana's Not Dead" but I will be making that very soon.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I suppose my most memorable experience was when I won second place in the Jrock cosplay competition a few years ago for my Merveille Mana cosplay at A-kon.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have a few times, but I don't do that so much anymore.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I got a lot of cheers and some guy yelled out "Mana, will you marry me?!" when I was on stage. It was kinda funny at the time, but I was also surprised by how many people enjoyed my cosplay. It was a fun time~
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
yes, My friend (who was Kami) and I (merveilles Mana) won second place at the Jrock cosplay contest.
Tell us a little about yourself
I've been into cosplay for a long time now. XD
I think for about 6 years or so.
I'm known around Texas for cosplaying Mana, which I have done for about 5 years now. I try to cosplay a new version of him every con, so I own a lot of costumes.(^^)v
I visited Japan in the summer of 2007. I saw a lot of bands, including my favorite, Moi dix Mois! I'm currently in college, and I'd like to transfer to Tokyo to finish my studies and eventually find internship over there. :3 My dream is to one day work for Japanese bands.
