What got you into cosplay?
Other people. And the fact that I would sit an watch something (anime, j-music, game) and I would cry "I want that!"
What was your first costume and why?
Priest-type Duo Maxwell was my first costume because he is my favorite character from my all time favorite series.
What is your favorite costume and why?
hide (formerly of X-Japan; 12-13-1964 to 05-02-1998) because I was cosplaying as a legend. I also really really enjoyed my Edward costume.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I've sort of abandoned the sewing machine, dyes, etc. I moved to Japan in January 2006 and I haven't been bothered to start up again.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When I premiered my Die (Dir en grey) costume at A-kon 15 in 2004.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Just one. DX

I don't remember it.

Tell us a little about yourself
I graduated from college with a BS in microbiology and a minor in chemistry in 2004. I worked in Austin, TX as a mad psyentist for 2 years while I killed my hair and my passion for sewing.
In 2006, I moved to Tochigi, Japan to teach, but my infamous company tanked in that October and I busted for Tokyo, where I've been ever since. Now I'm a struggling student again, as Tokyo is NOT cheap and I'm generally just enjoying myself.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I've got a horribly sick passion for Music, hair, and, on some levels, fashion (just not so much for myself :P).
