What got you into cosplay?
When I first started watching anime back when I was about 6 or so, I really got into it. And when I had heard about anime conventions a few years later, I immediately wanted to Cosplay. Now, my sister and I are avid cosplayers.
What was your first costume and why?
Chris Redfield from Resident Evil 1; Chris was always one of my favourite characters from RE, and I really love the series. My dad, who is a huge RE fan, nearly got a heart attack from excitement after me telling him who I wanted to be.
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far, just Chris; Missouri doesn't get a whole lot of RE cosplayers, and something about the costume just makes me feel comfortable.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Not sure yet. I'd like to make something from Assassin's Creed, like Altaïr or Leonardo. Maybe even Malik. Right now, I'm working on a Subject 16 outfit, but I'm trying to find room(and money) to make a Jill Valentine(RE1) outfit sometime later.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I almost did one year, when my friend made me cosplay Matryoshka!Kaito, but she failed, expecting me to learn certain dance moves in such short notice. And to top it all off, didn't even tell me what I was supposed to learn. In all honesty, I don't like being in front of crowds.
What was your best masquerade experience?
N/A.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Never entered one.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm currently a High schooler with one 19-year old sister. I live with my mum and dad, and have one recent niece., and my hobbies consist of roleplaying, drawing, listening to music, and playing video games. ( Not including cosplaying. |D )
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I guess this wouldn't hurt to add-- In school, I'm learning German, and at home, I'm learning Italian. However, my Italian is better than my German.
