What got you into cosplay?
Most of it came from seeing how well other cosplayers were and I was convinced by a friend of mine on a ride home back from Sac-Anime to start cosplay.
What was your first costume and why?
Actually I made the Armor from the armor brigade unit from Jin-Roh only I never really finished it and never had the chance to wear. My first official cosplay however was Jim Hawking from Outlaw Star and its actually my favorite so far ^^
What is your favorite costume and why?
Without a doubt, its my Raccoon Police Department uniform that was made back for JTAF. Over the course of time it has made "VAST" improvements and everybody reconizes me in it ^__^ I'm proud of myself to having it. Now I have a dress uniform to go along with it XD
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I would love to make a WWII German Military Infantry Division Uniform. Since WWII happens to be my favorite unit in history I would love to make it just for fun =D
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being called "Light Rail Boy" during Fanime's Cosplay show and being haunted by it at 2004. >______< Another memorable experience was when myself and Yunri, another member on this forum, performed a re-enactment of one of Parappa The Rapper's game, the driving stage, featuring me dressed up as RPD and Yunri as Time-Jump Hinata. XD
Do you participate in masquerades?
I do now, my most recent skit was Laguna singing a re-write version of Tony Bennett's I Left My Heart in San Francisco with the title "I Left My Heart in Dollet City." Apparently everybody loved it ^^ I hope to someday have an encore with it =D
What was your best masquerade experience?
FanimeCon 2005, I was on stage to get Brian "Dieter" back for 2004's heckling contest in a good ol fashion. At the end of the masq, I gave him the sign as a going away present because it was his last year as MC for Fanime =(
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I have one the "Most Original Award" for skit performances at Sac-Anime 2007. Myself and Yunri, another member of this forum, performed a re-enactment of one of Parappa The Rapper's game, the driving stage, featuring me dressed up as RPD and Yunri as Time-Jump Hinata. XD
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm currently enrolled at the San Francisco Police Academy, training in Law Enforcement as a field officer. I hope to someday work for the New York Police Department (NYPD) while at the same time enjoy my life at going to all my favorite cons ^_^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I love to take many pictures while at Conventions and I hope to go to Otakon in 2008 ^^ Oh and I "LOVE" Misaki-sama from Tenchi Muyo because she's the most adorable character I have ever seen and I wish to consider her my Mascot for future convention traveling ^^
