What got you into cosplay?
Cosplay and anime are two things that I've always been interested in. For years I simply looked at different websites dedicated to people like Yaya Han. Her costumes were simply amazing and really inspired me to try it myself.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Tifa Lockheart from Final Fantasy 7. Tifa might not be my favorite, but she's still a really great character (And my love for her keeps on growing!). Her outfit was pretty easy considering you could buy almost everything at the store. My mom and I tried to make Rinoa's (from Final Fantasy 8) costume several years later. It was our first real attempt at sewing. So, like Tifa's, it was bad. In the end it was a great experience and I'm still really proud of both.
What is your favorite costume and why?
This question always stumps me. Truthfully, all of my costumes are special for one reason or another. Some have unique meanings for why they are made and something memorable might have happened while wearing others. So, I really believe the answer lies whatever mood I'm in. Meaning - It's forever changing!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I have a list of costumes that constantly change. One day it'll be this and the other day it'll be that. However, Dilandau from Escaflowne is one that'll never move.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When Yuu Watase asked for my picture. Surprisingly, I was wearing my Rinoa costume at the time. She came up to me, tapped my shoulder, and pointed to her camera. I was in total shock! Also, being Aerith. Tons of people kept hugging me and telling me not to die again.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I've only participated in Hall Cosplay so far.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Nothing yet.

Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Jessica, though I'm better known by my alter ego, and cosplay alias, Rei2Rei. Other then cosplay and school, I'm a part-time dog washer. Most people find that odd, but I love every moment of it! And if it wasn't for me--There would be smelly pups everywhere! :)
