About Me / Q&A
What was your first costume and why?
ganju shiba from bleach. i had his looks and hair. all i needed to do was obtain his outfit, and so began my trial and errors of the sewing machine adventure. i'll have to say that i am proud of my first cosplay. i feel like i went above and beyond myself with all the extra props(fireworks bombs, working backpack, flower cannon instruction manual, and butcher's blade). i was extremely proud of the work i put into it. i feel that the smaller extra props made my cosplay stand out a little bit more.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
mtac or "flood-con" that con was full of memories. it was the first con i went to, though i went as a fan and not a cosplay. something i vowed not to do again.
Do you participate in masquerades?
yes i do
What was your best masquerade experience?
mtac 2014. i was cosplaying red gyarados (pokemon) and the costume is around 16 ft long and full of ballons to keep shape. as i enter the stage my tail swings side to side and knocks the stage lights and props down as i dance to the front of the stage, it was great.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
-red gyarados - pokemon - 1st place props - mtac 2014 , nashville, tn
-avatar kuruk - avatar tla - 1st place - sukoshi con , bowling green, ky
My favorite game(s)
i love the pokemon gb games, into mw3, and halo. but above any videogames, i love board games. there is nothing better than getting people around the table and playing a board game or the like.
My favorite book(s)
i am the harry potter generation. i grew up with Harry, Ron, and hermione. i'd fall asleep reading the books late into morning and get into trouble reading them at school. my sister and i even dressed up as the lard lord himself at the deathly hallows part 2 opening night.
i'm also into the series "The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" these books have caught grab of me and i love it.
