What was your first costume and why?
Vash the Stampede because he's a great character. Trigun was the first anime I watched all the way through and fell in love with.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Saiyuki: Goku-- I get free food.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Jack Sparrow (but who doesn't want that one?)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The whole New York Comic Con experience. That was about as overwhelming as it has ever got for me. Plus, I met Eve Myers and Colin Baker. Both are just lovely!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nah, I like my Saturdays for wandering around. I spent upwards of a month getting to any convention I manage to make it to. I don't want to spend the better part of it in a small room filled with the scent of glue, paint and foam, likely with a mech standing on my foot. Plus, it's too much work XD I go to conventions to relax.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No so far, but I don't make a habit of entering contests. They take too long when I could be doing more enjoyable things like wandering the con hotel aimlessly and enjoying my cosplay.
Tell us a little about yourself
I am in the process of getting my Masters in Biology and Bachelors Veterinary medicine. I minor in Zoology. My hero is Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter). My favorite anime convention is Anime Central. I live in a very secluded area. The nearest city (13,000) is 60 miles away. The nearest town (2,000) is 8 miles. My village is of about 200 people. It is incredibly difficult to get materials for my hobbies, which is a good thing, since I'd probably be completely broke if it were any easier XD
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I have at least 7 dogs at one time, but often more because I rehabilitate. 4 of those dogs are cart/sled trained. I also have around 10 chickens, a cat, 3 quail, and a mouse.
