What got you into cosplay?
Wanting to become my favorite characters, a love for anime. Guess the same things as most people.
What was your first costume and why?
Sakura from Naruto, because I was obsessed. ^_^;;
What is your favorite costume and why?
My ending theme Shuichi outfit, because it's comfortable and colorful and fun to run about hyperly in, and my SSBB green Pit costume, because it's the best I've made so far and my most popular.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My favorite character from every one of my favorite video games. owo
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
1) Having a picnic on the 7th floor of the convention hotel and inviting whoever came up on the elevator to join 2) Running into a Yuki at Nekocon and running-glomp-tackling him and forcing him to sit with me during cosplay 3) Winning 2nd place in a karaoke contest and getting a giant box of strawberry Pocky 4) Winning 1st place in the cosplay skits with my friends and getting a trophy 5) Raving for 4 straight hours at Nekocon until I could no longer stand up 6) Walking around Maryland during Otakon in full-out cosplay with my friend and scaring people we passed 7) Getting my Kumagorou signed by bands 8) Sitting in the hallway during AMA dressed as Shuichi and singing to myself as people kept asking me for pictures xD 9) Sneaking into the boys bathroom dressed in crosplay 10) Seeing my friend fall into a trashcan 11) My friend glomped me once, when I was dressed as Shu, and I had a sandwich in my hands in a plastic box-thing. It kind of went flying and landed on the carpet. >.> Someone saw that and asked for my pic anyway. xDD 12) At AMA 7 my friends and I were waiting in line to see Unicorn Table, and it took so long and we got so bored that finally (dressed as Shuichi again) we started singing random songs together like "If you were gay" and "I'm too emo" and such, and licking glowsticks and whatnot. xDD The people in line next to us told us they were our new fans. Lol.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have once, at AMA 6, in the "Chicken Fight." I was Shuichi, of course. It was a really fun experience and I want to do it again sometime, even though I'm a bit frightened to go on stage again.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Cosplay at AMA 6. We won Best Novice and got a nice shiny trophy.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, but that's mostly because I haven't entered them...>.> I regret not entering my Pit costume at AMA, but ah well. Anyways we DID win best Novice in cosplay at AMA 6.

I'm a 19-year-old soon to be sophomore in art school. ouo My favorite anime and manga is One Piece. I also like the xxxHOLIC manga, among others. My favorite things to do are sing, draw, play videos games, read manga, watch anime, cosplay, and hang out with my friends. : D
