What got you into cosplay?
Hmm.. What got me into cosplay? The first time I went to a convention I remember seeing people dressed up as characters, and I decided I wanted to do it as well. It was something I always enjoyed doing as a child for Halloween, seeing as my mother is a Drama major and was a costume designer. I always had tons of pieces to use just to play in as a child, and I guess it just rubbed off on me.. ^^;
What was your first costume and why?
My first actual cosplay costume was.. Sailor Moon. My mother and father always compared me to Usagi when it was on television, so mother and I made her Sailor Fuku. Sadly it never made it to a convention simply because it was so cold and the only convention I could go to was in early March.. XP
What is your favorite costume and why?
I love any of my Rukia costumes. I've gotten a lot of compliments on all of them, and quite a few random people have told me I physically fit the description of the character. A lot of important things have happened to me while I've been in those costumes as well, so she's really close to me now.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My dream costume is one that I'm currently attempting to begin constructing.. Axl from Rockman X(7-8, Command Mission). I've always loved Reploids, and Axl is just awesome. Besides, I can sound annoying like him quite easily. ^^
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
"Gate Baby Magic" at Katsucon 2007 was my favorite cosplay experience that everyone got to see. However, during Otakon 2007, my Ichigo proposed to me. That's definately memorable!

Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, unfortunately. I have entered, but my costumes weren't good enough apparently, they're probably "too simple" to win anything. One day though...!
Tell us a little about yourself
I've graduated college, have a wonderful fiancée, and have no clue what I want to be when I grow up. I do dabble in drawing and writing, and do consider myself a somewhat decent seamstress. XD

My favorite anime
Bleach is my current obsession, although I haven't had much time to get caught up in it like I should be. I'm also in love with Sailor Moon since the day I first saw it. XD
