About Me / Q&A

What got you into cosplay?
I've always loved dressing up, whether it be for a show or Halloween, so the idea of cosplay hooked me instantly.
What was your first costume and why?
Yui Hirasawa from K-ON! was my first cosplay. One of my friends and I wanted to go to a convention and cosplay together, and K-ON! was one of the series we both liked at the time.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Idris from Doctor Who. I'm very pleased with the end result, and she is one of my favorite Doctor Who characters. I love wearing this costume!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
General Beatrix from Final Fantasy IX. FFIX is my favorite Final Fantasy game, and Beatrix is a character that I really love. I hope to bring her to life as accurately as possible someday. Her whole design is completely badass.
Tell us a little about yourself
I love art and language. I've taken about two and a half years of Mandarin-Chinese and I'm loving it so far. I really enjoy speaking the language, while I know I'm nowhere near being any good at it. I would love to start learning German. Baking, sewing, theater, music, and fashion are a few of my other interests.
My favorite anime
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Chrono Crusade, NANA, Death Note, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Fullmetal Alchemist (+Brotherhood), Ouran High School Host Club, AIR, Shigofumi: Letters from the Departed, Lucky Star, Cowboy Bebop.
My favorite game(s)
BioShock, Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy IX, Silent Hill 2 & 3, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Kingdom Hearts II.
My favorite book(s)

My favorite movies(s)
