What was your first costume and why?
First costume I made was in for Halloween, it was a Han Solo outfit modified from store bought stuff. Next outfits were made for Star Trek gatherings.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I have a couple. Liana from 'A Distant Soil' would have to be one. When I first saw that dress I was determined I would make it someday. Took about 15 years, but now I have it. And at Otakon I was able to wear it to see if the creator would recognize her design - and she did. It ended up being pictured in lettercol of A Distant Soil - as far as I know the 1st ADS costume. Other costumes I love are Zelgadis, Eva, Inu-Papa & Lady Oscar.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes, one involves armor and the others are from A Distant Soil so tons of jewel work. Would also like to do Sarah's ballgown from Labyrinth.
Do you participate in masquerades?
On rare occasions, I prefer hall costuming.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Winning Best Technical at C-kon. I finally got up the courage to do my first skit, before this contest I had always been a walk-on. I am such a chicken.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, have won several awards
