What got you into cosplay?
Attended FanimeCon since the beginning, and at one point I decided to become part of the Con instead of just attending.
What was your first costume and why?
Black Metal. A friend and I ran the Console Gaming at FanimeCon in 1999 and we decided to dress up as a Black Metal band, simply to make the statement that we're not into and anti-anime, as a gag. Most people mistook us for being characters in Bastard.
What is your favorite costume and why?
The pirate costumes. Didn't need to put on much make-up and it was easy to put on and take off, not to mention it was extremely popular with the ladies.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Something with electronic/mechanical parts that are actually useful and not just for show.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I think all the ladies who were attracted to it, mainly the pirate costume. I guess I pulled that one off pretty well.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No I don't, but I might some day.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I just sit and watch.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Hugs and kisses and some girl grabbed my butt once.
Tell us a little about yourself
I recently got into the hobby of building costume armor, so far it's been costly, tiring but fun. We'll see how my work turns out over time.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I wish I could add a billion + my paycheck into my bank account!
