What got you into cosplay?
As an actor, I just like to dress up in costumes.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costumes were for halloween like Zell from FFVIII back in 8th grade. My first time I cosplayed (knowing it was cosplay) was also for Halloween, and it was Genjo Sanzo.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I really love my Adult Link costume from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time game. I feel that I was born to put on that costume. Granted, it doesn't fit me anymore though. T_T
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Kazuma from S-Cry-Ed with partial full transformation of Alter Power (that huge fan blade thing on his back, y'know, that one)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
All the photo requests for my Sanzo costume. I miss it soooo much. That's why I've decided that my costumes are either going to be amazing or less obscure from now on. ^_^
Do you participate in masquerades?
I performed in AB2005's Human Chess and Dating Game as Genjo Sanzo. For AB2006 I was in the Adult Dating Game as Link. At AB2007 I became the con's cosplay videographer, but i made an appearance as Touga Kiriyuu in the Adult Dating Game. Anime Boston cosplay videos available at : http://animebostoncosplay.blip.tv
What was your best masquerade experience?
Definately the Anime Dating Game at Anime Boston 2005. If anything it was something that couldn't have been done without Ada's help as Gojyo. It was just way too fun playing off of her hitting on the contestants and firing my gun off at her. (no offense Ada, it just was ^_^()) and after that I'd say the Adult Dating Game at Anime Boston 2006. When Roy Mustang (the bachelor) picked me, as Link, I was completely caught off guard.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Anime Boston 2006 Adult Dating Game - Link - I was bachelor #1. I was picked for a date by Roy Mustang. -_-; I think I went partially deaf that night from all the fangirls' screams.
Tell us a little about yourself
I work part time as a shift manager at a Black & Decker Factory Outlet Store. I'm currently working to get my SAG Union card as an actor. not much in the sense of literary gold. I enjoy the works of Mitch Albom and J.R.R. Tolkien when I want to read a good book. Otherwise it's mostly manga. Lately I've been addicted to xxxHOLiC and The Wallflower. A MUST READ for people into BioHorror is Parasite Eve by Hideaki Sena!!!
