What got you into cosplay?
Halloween is my favourite holiday, so what better than to go to conventions year-round?? And I love acting, so if you put two and two together....^_^
What was your first costume and why?
My first anime costume was of San from Princess Mononoke. A friend and I were going to a masquerade at our college's anime club and I decided to go as San because I love her character. I AM San.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hmmm, my fav is probably between Pen Pen and Rei from Evangelion. Rei because she is badass, and Pen Pen because it's fun to be glomped!! Who doesn't love a huge penguin?!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I had plans to make a FFX Bahamut, but, this summer there is no cash to make it. Sad, sad, sad. BUT, I am in the process of making one now that I've wanted to do for a WHILE. ::demonic smile:::
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Otakon 2001!!! Or should I say VASHCON?! Lots of Vash cosplayers got together outside the dealer's room and we had a blast! I was like, "Let's do a kickline!" And we did! XD
Do you participate in masquerades?
Hell yeah! LOVE EM!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Winning best costume as Pen Pen at IUP Anime Club. ^^
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Well, I've won Most Detailed for San @ IUP Anime Club, Best Costume for Pen Pen @ IUP Anime Club, and Best Plugsuit from DVD Vision Japan for my Ayanami Rei. I was pretty happy for those! ^_^ Tekkoshocon 2004--My Inu Yasha costume won a honorable mention in the Hall costume contest.

I have a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from IUP, have a custom plushie website (Shing FX), and love to draw. I love conventions, and hohos!
