What got you into cosplay?
My love of being in the spotlight. Definitely. And in the fact that nothing beats running around in strange get-ups.
What was your first costume and why?
Mad Hatter of Angel Sanctuary. I fell in love with her and my friends kept telling me how much I was like her. The results were rather obvious.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Most likely Artemisia. She was a pain to make, a pain to wear and a pain to pay for, but damn, if she isn't the best thing I've ever put together.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I think I've exceeded my expectations a million times and over and will probably only dream of making simple costumes for the next few years. I wouldn't mind being able to gather that Weiss kreuz -cosplay group, though. D:
Do you participate in masquerades?
I used to, but nowadays I mostly just host them.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Animecon IV and our Brilliant Rangers -skit, back in 2006. We had tons of fun and on top of it all we won the whole thing. So yeah, it was rather glorious. It was also rather epic hosting the Desucon masquerade as Igor in June 2009. It was the first time I had an actual script (Yes, I am, indeed a professional. Ahem.), I had immense amounts of fun, the audience was awesome, my co-host was spectacular and all in all it was probably the best masquerade I've ever hosted.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Third place, four times in a row! Also an award for the best skit and then a glorious second place in the Finnish WCS -preliminaries.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a future-journalist who might or might not graduate from university sometime in 2013 (unless the end of the world gets here before that). I write, I lounge about doing nothing, I sing with our budgies and I make faces at my fishies. My life is glorious.
