What got you into cosplay?
Just anime in general. Seeing characters I liked, liking their costumes, etc.
What was your first costume and why?
Kiba from Naruto, put together from premade clothes. The sweatshirt was huge on me, it all looked awful.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Draco Malfoy, because I'm always looking for an excuse to act like a spoiled brat. Then again, who needs an excuse?
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Ahhh, the million dollar question. Maya from Septerra Core, Leon Belmont from Caslevania: Lament of Innocence... lots of over-complicated video game costumes.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I couldn't pick just one, everything is pretty memorable.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, with Brilliant Moon Cosplay, and sometimes with DaOutlaw as Something Cosplay Inc.
What was your best masquerade experience?
The Fanime 2008 masquerade with Brilliant Moon Cosplay.

Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a senior in high school. I'm the opinion editor on the school's award-winning newspaper. On my free time I like to read, write, horseback ride, swim, play with my dog, and listen to music.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I think everyone should remember that cosplay is just for fun, not something to be taken seriously. At the end of the day, we're all just geeks dressed like cartoon characters.
My favorite anime
Evangelion is definitely my favorite. I also like Air Gear, Genshiken, BECK, Kujibiki Unbalance, Romeo x Juliet, and Rurouni Kenshin.

Xenosaga, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy 8 and 9, Escape From Monkey Island, and King of Fighters games.

Druids by Morgan Llywelyn, LOTR series, the first three Harry Potter books, especially the third, Kurt Vonnegut books.
