What got you into cosplay?
Lots of my friends were doing it and it seemed cool. Most of my hobbies involve making things, tangible artifacts, something I find fulfilling.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes -- but it involves a four and half foot wide motorized wheelchair, a full body suit, and half a gaming chest. There's no way I can do it until I have a house.
And even then, no one will know who I am.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My first hall judging, Katsu 12, 2/2006. Being told my Charlotte cuirass was "a solid piece of construction," and that my stitching was "straighter than [the judge's]."
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet, but it's getting there....
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Just one, a crowd third place popularity for my Anthy, along with my girlfriend's Utena.
