What got you into cosplay?
Well, being a fan of anime I would always pick anime characters for Halloween. People found it weird, but I'll live with it. Then, a really close friend (Chibi) told me about anime conventions. I've now made it a habit to attend all that I can and to cosplay at them too.
What was your first costume and why?
Mint, from Threads of Fate. I always liked that game, she was one of the few princess I actually liked. I picked the outfit because it seemed really simple and cute. When I finished it ended up being a little shorter than I wanted but I gained experience.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My Mizune cosplay costume. That costume...well yeah, too much to even consider going into but I love it.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Well, it was a Lulu cosplay from Final Fantasy X...but I finally made it. Hurray! I also even went as far as to cosplay from Honey and Clover (though I was right, no one recognized it).
Now, I'm thinking Yuuko from xxxHolic or Maririn from Peace@pieces.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
In Kallen at Otakon '08 I had a woman come up to me and asked me if my breast were real. Needless to say it was an amazingly interesting conversation.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, I never have. I've helped in a cosplay skit before however.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Oh, I finally worked up to courage to enter something. My Lulu cosplay costume! I ended up getting second place in novice category at AFO '07. At the same convention I got a Hall costume award for my Kallen (Karen) cosplay, from Code Geass.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a college student working hard to reach my goals. I have started to attend more conventions now that I have gained convention experience and have finally met some new people.
I enjoy reading and relaxing with a cup of coffee on sunny or especially rainy days. I also love to meet new people...even though I can be shy at first.

Umm, I hate Penguins?
