What got you into cosplay?
I've always liked dressing up, and once I saw pictures of cosplayers on the internet, I knew I'd have to do it someday. I've had homemade Halloween costumes since I was little, so I poked my mom to teach me how to sew.
What was your first costume and why?
My first (and worst!) costume was a horribly cheesey "Love Never Changer" Minako Aino from the opening credits of the Sailor Moon SuperS movie. I chose it because I thought it'd be cute and recognizable...it wasn't. I had a terrible wig, my eyebrows kept reverting to their normal color (black!!), the shirt looked weird, and the bow was droopy. Total and complete failure.
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far, my Teen Angst Hello Kitty costume would have to be my favorite. It's cute, fun, and people don't expect it. The tag is the best part, because it immediately lets people know who and what I am.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Elgala from the Excel Saga manga! It's in-progress right now. After that, I'd like to eventually get the courage up enough to cosplay Mimete from Sailor Moon S.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Someone glomped me at SugoiCon 2005 and yelled "HELLO KITTY!" That was pretty cool.
My MOST memorable cosplay experience was when the most adorable little Sakura cosplayer liked my Song costume so much she sat next to me while we were sitting "backstage" waiting for the rest of the cosplay contest to be over! Eeee! So cute.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I do indeed!
What was your best masquerade experience?
See most memorable experience. Chibi-Sakura showed me her Clow Card set (including The Song card) and even shared some candy with me. X3
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, not yet, but I'm hoping to soon! My Elgala looks promising.

In school, love cosplaying, get a tad too obsessed when researching things I like or think I'll like (see wigs), good with English

I can't wait until my Elgala costume is completed and I can show it off to everyone.
