What got you into cosplay?
My sister found the Anime Boston website online.
What was your first costume and why?
I went to Anime Boston 2003 as Kairi. It was the day before AB, and I needed something to wear because my sister had a costume. So, I found this purple skirt that had come with a white tanktop that I got for Christmas a couple years before, and I also had her sneakers, so I was like, Perfect! I can be Kairi! So my sister helped me find wrist/arm bands and style/spray (red) my hair.
What is your favorite costume and why?
The White Rabbit was so much fun! My sister and I designed it and I got to wear the cutest mini vest and tie. And the ears. ^_^ Plus I was in a group with my sister (Alice) and her friends (Mad Hatters).
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I would love to make Fai D. Flowright's (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle) blue Europe costume from the picture of him and Kurogane.
And also, Link from Zelda:Twilight Princess. We hope to complete this for Anime Boston 2008.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
At Anime Boston 2004, I cosplayed as Jakotsu, thinking that no one would no him since he's in the last season of Inuyasha. But, there was a girl, probably my age, who loved Jakotsu as much as me. So she was sort of my fangirl/stalker; everywhere I went, she was. It was scary at the time, but now when I think about it I laugh! ^_^
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet, but I hope to sometime.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes! I won the Judge's award at Anime Boston 2007 in the Hall Cosplay Contest for my Garnet crown. :D
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm in a perokial high school which I hate and I have two older sisters, mom, dad and a 5 year old Sheltie named Morgan. I work as a sort of secretary at my Dad's office and it's soo boring. Naturally my hobbies are music, anime, manga, cosplay, art and Broadway musicals.
